Steve has a Masters of Law from the University of Sydney. He is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law and a member of the Law Society of NSW Personal Injury Committee. He regularly provides education for other lawyers at seminars and has written articles for magazines and journals on personal injury law subjects.

Steve has an unsurpassed reputation in workers compensation matters and has handled a number of leading cases in this area, such as Merriman, Cornett and Teofillo. He applies his detailed knowledge of complex workers compensation legislation to achieve outstanding outcomes for his clients, establishing Walker Legal's reputation as one of the best firms for representing people injured at work.

Before establishing Walker Legal's forerunner, Steve Walker & Associates in 2003, Steve was a senior associate at several large Sydney firms. Here he amassed a vast experience in dealing with insurance claims. Steve knows how insurance companies think and work: he uses this knowledge to develop individualised tactics to get fast, just results in your case.
